Fur and Frills

The past two weeks have been a real balancing act for me. I'm trying to slot back nicely into the daily grind of university life, whilst attempting to have a social life, and save money. Not three things that go hand in hand. None the less I'm managing to keep a float at the moment, although I'm sure stress levels will rise soon.

Whilst studying at university, my blog is still a main priority for me, and I want to try and upload good quality posts at least once every fortnight. My burst of January motivation has lifted me into February and having my super talented photographer Grace on board helps a lot.

I have definitely not been eased back into studying, as the work is coming thick and fast. However, I just keep thinking to myself that my summer is only three months away! Until the weather warms up fur will still be a massive part of my wardrobe. This Zara jacket is an item that I have re worn for a number of years. The colour is so different to most faux fur jackets and although lined it's fairly light and easy to wear- a perfect transitional item for February/March.

Amidst my dreams of summer I picked up this elegant one shoulder crop top. It is extremely flattering, and would look beautiful with a golden tan. For now though, its a can of St. Tropez and a fur overlay. I can't help but start to fill my wardrobe with Spring/Summer items like this, and I somehow find myself wearing them in freezing temperatures. I'm a fairly organised girl and so with the prospect of summer holidays looming, I like to be prepared with some lighter colours, crop tops and floral patterns.

I'm convinced I could give cinderella a run for her money in these shoes. They are the perfect statement shoe to put with an all monochrome outfit, or to jazz up an embellished dress. I've named them my party shoes, and despite not being the most comfortable heels in the world, I still find any excuse to wear them.
