Stressed and Simple Dressing

Life is hard at the moment for the average 2nd-year university student. All my deadlines are looming and I'm extremely stressed about getting everything done. If anyone has actually managed that age old balancing act of working hard whilst earning money and sustaining a social life, please let me know, because I am struggling.

Even though I'm a self proclaimed organised freak, I still find myself either staying up late trying to finish assignments or staying up late worrying about assignments. Anyway, I'm one of the lucky ones who finishes for summer in a little under five weeks, so how can I complain when I have nearly four months off to look forward to.

Unfortunately, the blog has taken a back seat this week and this outfit isn't the most exciting thing in the world, I'll be the first to admit that. However, sometimes simple is best. My go-to combination for the evening and for going out is always jeans and nice top, isn't this the same with most of us girls?

Since my evening outfits more often than not consist of a bodysuit and jeans, I've got bodys coming out of my ears. This one was actually something I picked up in the Missguided sale a little while ago for no more than £4?! It's a little more daring than something I would normally go for, and that might sound silly but I often don't have the confidence to wear something like this. However, I think dressed down with some attention seeking jeans like these, I can just about get away with it.

These jeans optomise "attention seeking". Everytime I wear them I get so many comments, some not always good, but I love them. They're a perfect take on the classic black jean, and the flares give them that little something extra.
