Becoming A Grown Up

Being so close to the end of my second year of university has really got me thinking about life post being a student. I would be lying if I said I was ready to graduate, a few more years of living with friends, partying and having no real structure to my life sounds more appealing than a 9 til 5 right now. I'm not even exactly sure what I want to do when I leave university anyway. Full-time blogger, of course, would be the dream, but with how oversaturated this industry is, it's looking like blogging will remain my hobby.

There are some parts of me that already feel pretty stressed out about the looming graduation and pressure to find a good job. Even though I still have a year to figure all this out, the organised control freak inside of me is pulling her hair out. Of course, this is all part of life and I'm sure I'll find my way. So in the meantime, I'll continue to shop until my arms fall off.

Anyway, on to the outfit. I think my style has matured over the last few months, and I have been purchasing a lot more classic and sophisticated items. Cigarette trousers are something I think everyone should have in their wardrobe, and in a range of colours. This unbelivablly priced pair were something I found on the Zara website, and I'm so glad I bought them. They go well with everything, perfect for an evening with a blazer and heels but also great paired with trainers and a jumper for a more casual look.

White shirts are another classic item that I've been drawn to an awful lot recently. There are so many variations of the white shirt available right now, but I opted for something quite simple. Longsleeved with a few subtle ruffles - you can't go wrong!
